That's the odd part. When the Pens were up 3-1 the other night (and had several chances to make it 4-1) I thought the series was over. I thought to myself, well, it took a couple games but they found a rhythm now.

And they never scored again.

Same. I felt great.

Yep, my reaction at that exact moment was pretty much yep, we're back. Smooth sailing now. And then the total opposite happened

I'll also jump on this train. To that point, I treated the series like an early season college fb game against a fcs team where some lifelessness is acceptable. But somehow this team never turned it on. Someone should be held accountable

When we could put banners on the forums for each round, we won 2 cups.

When the board broke and stuff didn't display right in the subway style, we've gone well, no where.

I know who I hold accountable.

It was sloppy hockey and it looked like a team that was in the early season trying to get their hands and chemistry back while also looking for their legs. Some players looked good, but they were typically the younger guys. The older guys looked slower and sloppier overall. It wasn't fun hockey to watch. Add in suspect net keeping, and you have yourself a recipe for what happened.
