Team is a mess right now. The Bluegar Tanev line has been neutered without ZAR. Schultz looks like he’s playing hurt and with half a brain. And JJ, Jesus I cant wait until he’s on the third pair

Well.. special teams disaster right now. The power play hasn't been that great all season, so when the PK struggles and you're making defensive lapses, the man advantage won't be there to bail you out.
They need to lock this down quickly and start managing the puck better. Games get tight as the season wears on. This was really a game they should have won.

Why is the Johnson/Letang still a thing? Neither 3/58 nor 4/28 is working. Try something else maybe?

how was GVPM? (that's Grizzled Veteran Patrick Marleau, btw)
I made it back from hockey just in time to see the 3rd period. my SO asked me this morning, "How'd Marleau look?" and I was like, "holy carp! I forgot he was playing!"

JJ should probably be playing with Schultz right now. Mostly because I assume that will be the pairing when we get healthy.

he's fine as our 5th dman, of course there are issues when he's thrust into the top pairing with Letang

He's actively killing Crosby's line's production at 5 on 5, just like he killed Malkin's line production last year.

Resigning myself to the loss, I let myself fall asleep at 2nd INT.We can't score on a 1-3 goalie with 3.53 GAA and .897 SV%.
A game gift-wrapped by the schedulers as a perfect opportunity to get back on track...boooooooooo.
I freakin’ can’t believe the Flyers could leapfrog us if we drop a turd in Anaheim on Friday.
I thought Marleau looked fine. Still has wheels and smarts.
