I didn't see the Simon and Kahun injuries, so I'm assuming that they're short-term.
Yes the safe thing with this team is to assume the best injury wise huh?

It looked like Simon's injury could be knee-related.

The Bronx cheers were pretty loud on TV.

They were loud. The first one was deserved. Maybe the fans got too carried away with the others.

I don't mind what Geno or Sid said. They should stick up for Murray. What annoys me are the fans who post **** like "We got to stay behind our boys!" Or talk about how embarrassing it was or how the fans who booed or sarcastically cheered aren't real fans. Get over yourselves.

the collective whining this morning is too much. He gave up a goal 11 seconds in and continued to play like crap the entire 1st period. He settled down and pulled through in the end. In the meantime, it was a regular season game, a good come from behind win, but nothing more.
All this does is give Madden something to whine about from 3 to 6 today.

hey geno
remember how you'd get peeved when phil did stupid ****? when he did stupid **** your paycheck was still the same.
if i fork out a few hundred dollars to be entertained by the local hockey team i expect value. when a goaltender who's rumored to want 8 million dollars a year to play his position lets in some 800$ a year goals there's some people who will razz said goaltender.
anyway, said goaltender supposedly has a mind of forged steel so i'm thinking it didn't bother him at all.
love you, geno...but in this instance
up yours

People that feel a sports team owes them anything are a net-negative to society

I actually feel this way too. The sports team is there for your entertainment, nothing more. You can rightly choose how you spend your money, but it's an assumed risk you may see poor performance.

Same with people spending hundreds to thousands of dollars to see a UFC or Boxing match only for it to end in 10 seconds.
