I don't know what the tweet says, I'm assuming it's something about shot counting...no matter, he's been pretty well behaved this year...he's also a pretty significant plus, which is very unique to him...

He had to wash all the offense from his game...but that's the deal with bad players, they can't just add layers and dimension to them. The slider pulls from something to give to something else. The great ones have multiple sliders and can add dimension...adaptability...but JMFJ has, simply, just not gotten in the way this year...it's been pleasantly neutral...

Speaking of which, Malkin was pretty good defensively last night, which was nice to see in a tight road game...

Jarry, while not particularly tidy and well-groomed last night, he did make some real big stops for us...nice win for him as he played his junior hockey in Alberta...

No, the tweet is him flubbing a pass at the blue line as the high guy, then half-assing his back check on the 2 on 0 because he wanted his partner to do the work until he realized he was the only one back there.

Oh ok, so nothing that invalidates a whole season of good enough play...plus, JMFJ couldn't catch those guys from there anyway, and he was right to expect a partner to be back there, it was a bad line change...
