Ya know, with all the injuries, this game and the Vegas game were what I expected to see out of this team. Curse them for that 5-game winning streak and making me think they'd be ok. So many stupid things tonite.

Great coaching by Sullivan. After a goal, knows a commercial is coming, goes with 87-59-12 58-4 and is rewarded immediately. Heads up coaching.

And that commercial never came...there's a minute left and it's 9:22. Pace was slow, game was really fast though...

Why the f won't Letang shoot the damn puck at the top instead of trying to make a dumb pass that gets deflected away anyway. I swear, he makes more dumb plays per game than smart plays.

Well, when he shoots, he's a shin pad finder...the thing about being cocked and loaded and then walking the line is that you never actually change the angle. There needs to be a stickhandle and a skate move, and then move with it...the pass acceptance just plain isn't enough deception...

Need players back.

I never understood why he doesn’t use his wristlet/snapshot to get pucks through quickly. It’s heavy and more accurate than the slippers for him.Well, when he shoots, he's a shin pad finder...the thing about being cocked and loaded and then walking the line is that you never actually change the angle. I mean, Letang definitely takes a lot more wrist and snap shots than clap bombs...but no matter what, he doesn't really get them through. It's a nonsensical part of his game too given his skill set. He has hands, he has a shot, he has great wheels, he has a good feel for the offensive zone, and is a really good improviser...it's a mystery to me how he doesn't get more through...I never understood why he doesn’t use his wristlet/snapshot to get pucks through quickly. That said, he's the biggest volume shooter on the blueline we have, so it could be we remember the bad times...Letang is 8th in the NHL in shots on goal this year, first among d-men...so I guess some of them get through...would have been cool if I saw that before typing that top paragraph, but there's no going back now...
