It’s hard to find something to complain about in a 7-2 win, but here’s my entry:

I was annoyed to hear “Jump Around” 7x.

I mean, it meant we scored, so WOOOOO...!

But I still want to know just who the hell thought it was a good idea to change the goal song to that. Out of 1,694,275,210 songs (give or take), it’s one of the most banal options out there. I’m kinda a snob when it comes to stupid stuff like this, but we’ll address my poor priorities later.

I could take or leave “Party Hard,” but it was unique and had a winning tradition. I’ll take it now. Game Ops, you gotta go back either to that or to the drawing board.

I don't think I'd touch the Top 4 again unless they had injuries. I thought they had a solid game, but I'm wondering if that was because CBJ really lost a ton of talent.

We should have matched Nashville on Bonino at the money he wanted and never traded for Reaves or signed Hunwick. That 2 week stretch after winning back to back cups was the worst.

That offseason is where the Pens lost their identity, imo, because the GM got obsessed with Tom Wilson and tried to build the roster as a deterrent to him rather than continue with the speed and forecheck identity that won them back-to-back Cups.
