Some updated stuff on Cap Friendly. Warsofsky and that other dude will be making $400k per season in the AHL, which is nuts to me. Tanev has a $1MM signing bonus in each year of his deal and has a 10 team NTC for all six years, which is also nuts to me.

Neither did I and it really doesn't. I like the player, think he'll be a good fit, and hope he contributes to this team winning another championship, but this contract really looks like GMJR just said yes to everything Tanev wanted and probably offered up a NTC for the hell of it. Gonna need to see if there's a way for Cap Friendly to only show the 19-20 season so I don't get visual reminders of this team's free agent situation for next season.

Individually, I don't hate the three (term, $$, NTC) pieces of the contract. Giving him all three? Yesh. Hell, I'd be comfortable with 2 of the 3.
