the Islanders played the way the Pens did when they won in 2016. speed and forecheck was everything.

and at least we aren't Tampa.

I don’t hate the Isles. I really like some of their players. Rather see them come out of the East than pretty much anyone else remaining.

I do hate that the Pens couldn’t get their act together and even make this a freaking series.

Anything can happen. Mikey had them written out of the playoffs in January. Everyone had Tampa written into the Cup Finals.

One of them is advancing to R2. And it isn't Tampa.

OK, gonna need an off-season thread. I want to see the Pens go back to embracing speed, but a I think there's going to be some overhaul this offseason.
