Yeah, take away their goals, give us our misses, and then flip the officiating (despite it not being an issue at all) and the series was ours...I'm not buying, sir, sorry...

That. And the Islanders might not have put up gaps because they didn't need to. Sadly, 2 goals was enough to completely bury the Pens yesterday.

Meh The Islanders basically took the Pens behind the woodshed. The Pens also had no interest in even playing. It was a bad combo for them.

Absolutely. I've always held the belief that if a series is a sweep, it was pretty much total domination. Now, had the Pens won game 1, either in overtime or regulation, it would have been a completely different series. The ONLY moment I thought the Pens would win the series was right after Schultz scored to tie that game late. But from that point forward it was all Islanders - and I mean it was ALL Islanders.Yeah, take away their goals, give us our misses, and then flip the officiating (despite it not being an issue at all) and the series was ours...I'm not buying, sir, sorry...

I was kinda skeptical going into game 3, but I pretty much knew it was over when Eberle sniped the corner right after they scored.
It was a frustrating and disappointing end to a season full of ups and downs.
