Hoping for a W in a game that doesn't pucker the b-hole.

Letang will be playing as likely will Murray. You'll be puckering.

A team out of contention? Better believe you better pucker it.

I could be wrong about this but I feel like I remember hearing one of these are true: Sid has more goals on Lundqvist than any other goalie or Lundqvist has given up more goals to Sid than any other skater

Letang hurt again? Or just maintenance? Also, lol at Trotman over Maatta.

#Pens coach Sullivan said Letang has an upper-body injury and will not play tonight. His status is day-to-day. -MC

Any indication if it's the same one as before?

Maybe an aftereffect of the Radulov hit. It wasn't much, but, well ...

We went from probably puckering because of Letang to definitely puckering because of Trotman...

this is the future that dodint wants

You keep saying that but I'm not sure you know what it actually means.this is the future that dodint wants
My position is and always will be that if Letang is here I want him playing because he's sucking up cap space. I'd be happy if the Pens shitcanned him and replaced him with other pieces they need; OR, if he would just **** play a complete season.
Sadly we get neither.
You're not going to portray me as someone that willfully cheers for *checks media guide* ... Trotman ... over Letang. GTFO.

"You" is collective here, nothing against MiMH specifically. Just soap boxing, etc.

What confuses me is that Trotman is either on the top pairing or scratched
Why doesn't Gudbranson move up? They want to keep consistency with him and Petterson?

Classic strong-weak pairing combination. What confuses me is that Trotman is either on the top pairing or scratched
Why doesn't Gudbranson move up? They want to keep consistency with him and Petterson?
Great example:
Early 1960's Montreal Canadiens.
Doug Harvey (best d-man in the league) was paired with Al Langlois, a fringe/sub-NHL caliber player.
Tom Johnson-J.G. Talbot
Bob Turner rotated in as a spare, played forward in PK situations as well.
1-4
2-3
Extends to modern game to bring up weaker defenders that cannot lead a pairing, but can supplement a strong leader -- Boston Bruins: Chara-Seidenberg. Or to manage roster weakness: Lidstrom-Lilja.
Minute limitations also a factor...some players have a governor on them on when their game turns to a pumpkin...Daniil Markov a recent example, 16, 17+ minute games were an absolute joke...12-15 minute games, serviceable.
