Honestly, Scuderi had a pretty good game overall...that's a lot of minutes for him and he was good with his stick (without the puck) for most of the night...not perfect, but you can't expect perfection from a player of his skillset against team's speed of this caliber...he held it together nicely...

Big win, split in the Garden, that's the best we could have hoped for...

Rangers in 5. Sorry. Had to say it.

I disagree, this team has loads of talent and although they were frustrating at the end and limped into the playoffs I think they can win this series. They had a few days to clear their heads and have played worlds better the last two games than they did the last month. I don't see the Rangers taking both in Consol. Despite their last month this is a very good team when they're in the right place.

Perusing through hfboards gameday thread...found this utter gem from a Rangers fan.

"Us Ranger fans are just as tired of the officiating as everybody else. The powerplays did nothing but kill our momentum all game. Stop acting like they were ****ing helping."

The rangers thought this was going to be easy. This had the makings of the Boston series half way thru the game, but we weren't playing against Boston discipline tonight.

And regarding the officiating...it's the same thing as game 1. We were sloppy. Don't make it so easy for the refs to make calls. Interfere all you like but enough with the clear stick infractions and other things that HAVE to get called.

And we got quite a gift (biggest of the game) when Chorney was "hooked"
