I'm sincerely convinced that ****show of officiating leading up to the third period has really brought this team together. They said Malkin was irate from the bench on the Sutter call. Also, how does crosschecking a dude in the back of the neck only warrant 2 mins? That's just as dirty as what Byfuglien did.

Happy enough about the win itself, but the subplots make me even happier. Seeing guys like Crosby and Kunitz suddenly start to gel and look like they have blood in their veins is good reason to have a lot of hope. Yeah, it was a one goal win (technically), but I love the fact that a) our power play produced, and b) guys that have been dead for months are suddenly playing like they are pissed off. Good stuff boys.
