Possibly. But really there isn't anything he can do there on the initial rush. He's beat back, that play happens top fast. The best thing to do is not overskate it and be ready for the rebound and the transition. Skating hard through that play doesn't prevent the goal and might get at least one player hurt...

Just seemed like that pass happened really slow and he was still out of position in case of a rebound. Maybe it just looked weirder to me than it actually was. Not that I'm blaming Sid for that abomination of an example of how not to play with a 1-0 lead on an explosive team...
