I am trying to remember Blandisi from his time in NJ...I want to say, low-key IQ tweener skill forward who works hard, has a goofy stride, a penchant for being annoying and falling down a lot...but don't hold me to that. Generally plays on the left, but I feel like I have seen him at center before too...

I feel like in his first season, we did have some games like that...yes. And we doubled Crosby or Malkin as the extra.

And yes, Jon Cooper does this all the time...

Don't look now, but as we approach game 50...the Lightning are on the pace of the 1977 Canadiens just about for most points in a season (132)...

“We like the role that Wilson plays,” Rutherford said. “This opens the door for him.”

“Probably Wilson is the key guy we talk about,” Rutherford said. “He brings special elements to our team, the leadership, the physical play and whatnot that we really like.”
