Have to hand it to them, I fully expected a loss after they gave up the 2 goal lead.

Nice win. Perhaps my memory is kinda skewed towards remembering just the losses, but I feel like we can never beat Boston.

Lots of good things tonight. Bottom line though, the Pens won this game because they made better decisions with the puck.

Brassard is the Kenneth Shane Pickett of the Penguins. 30+ games into his Pittsburgh career - is he any good? Meh don't know

Because Soffest division in hockey. Any other division we aren't in the playoff picture.

Letang is hurt and hurt bad. Not putting ay weight on his left leg. Hobbles to the bench and heads to the locker room -SK
For as much **** as we like to give Letang, if he’s out for a significant amount of time, this team is ****.

In the sense that he sucks up cap space, yeah. Imagine what they could do with that money. Maybe get one or two defensively sound players that will actually play a full season (Letangs near-full season last year was an anomaly).

I've watched the replay several times. Could be a knee ligament :x my guess is that it's some type of ligament sprain or hyper-extension. Almost certain they will be without him for the short-term.

Could argue that it's still tough because the teams within keep trading points with each other and no one can gain an actual advantage.

You would have to go back to when they inked that awful contract and see how things shook out around the league. As long as we are time warping lets just rewrite the deal to match his level and frequency of play,. A player, again if we're being retrospective, that had no contribution to the cup win the year he only played 41 games.

I know I am being near-unreasonable, it's basically schtick at this point. But the media in this town are contorting themselves into pretzels to apologize for him, particularly now that he has produced some offense, so I feel at liberty to wind it out a bit. Listening to MM and C.Armstrong talk around the fact he is injured again yesterday made me gag a little bit.

Oh okay you’re using revisionist history. Makes sense, carry on in that imaginary world.
