Why the f is rust changing when his team is carrying the puck at him, he’s the puck support and he’s pulling his lazy ass to the bench as the puck comes toward him. It’s **** stupid lazy **** that kills this team.

I actually said to my gf, "why the F are Brassard and Rusty out there to start OT?" as they were lining up for the faceoff. the NHL has been doing 3v3 for long enough for HCMS to know that you put your BEST out there to start. I'd love to know the average time that OT goes because it seems to me that a LOT of OT goals are scored in that first shift.

Put Jake in for Rust and it makes sense. Brass was killer in the dot all night. The two were a threat to score all night.

as soon as it became 4-3 I knew it was coming. the biggest surprise to me was that it wasn't Sheary who scored the GWG.

I think folks are putting way, way, way too much emphasis on the result and not the process. Brassard was the first star of the night for me, he was the rightful starter of OT as a match against the Eichel trio. Rust, again, good speed match...and either he didn't communicate that change properly or Letang goofed it...that's not the point though. That's not a problem with deployment - at all. That's a problem with execution.

Regardless, we're also talking about blowing a 4-1 second period lead to a 1.5 line team...anything that's not focused on that and how we got there as opposed to focusing on who started a period is a waste...

Those two starting is a result of Sullivan making stupid line up decisions, which he has done all season. Rust has been awful this year, yet he's given every chance to get it going because he skates real fast.
