That’s what is seems like to me as well. Some games this year it has been hard to tell if the issue is foot speed or effort. The puck is bouncing around down there but we are never the team that comes away with it.

Pretty much this. Great teams and great coaches need to make adjustments and constantly evolve. Bylsma never could. Sully must find a way to best utilize his current group of players.

I’m glad you said this, meow. It seems to me that, even when the Pens got slower (or other teams got faster) in 2016-17, they were able to compensate for it by being smart and methodical.
