To be fair, they sort of tried in the 3rd. So don't expect too much from them on Tuesday, it's a taxing game.

On the first goal, Phil turned it over in the neutral zone, Murray gave up a fat rebound, there was no D coverage, and nobody near Tkachuk. My favorite, though, was when the Sens scored when they were in the midst of a change. Oh, and Patric Hornqvist got hit in the head by his own shot during warmups.

So you get the idea.

That is funky since it's not going to happen.

The potential for mistakes is proportional to magnitude of the problem so don't underestimate the possibility that Rutherford makes yet another awful decision.

Rutherford's trades have all been basically neutral to wins. His signings (both external and internal) are the issue.
