Pearson is no God, but Hags is redundant here...Pearson adds some scoring touch...played on that 70's line with Jeff Carter and Toffoli and they came through in big spots in the postseason...he's had a hell of a start to this year...but he's good addition...

Yeah, I liked him too but really thought if we could move him good things would happen. He is just starting to move down the back side of that career progression. Happy to see the Pens get younger.

I like Pearson. Smart and efficient in all three zones. A bit inconsistent, but most players are, eh? He’s got a plus shot

Quickly on Pearson, as I'm swamped at work today...

Plus shot, quick release, wrister and slapper...loves to be near the net, loves to cruise down the slot to score. Just an average skater really, maybe a little above...pretty heavy kid...grown into a good PK man...plays LW only. Has proven to work well as the third best player and finisher on a line...

Pearson’s contract is awful, $3.75M for two more additional years of doing nothing but playing like a pansy.

This was a way to get out of it. And thank god we no longer have to see that 70s line together ever again.
