I’m not saying he should have done anything different. He’s bracing for contact - probably looking to pop Oshie. Oshie is killing, so he isn’t going to throw the hit. It’s unfortunate all around

Agree, okay with two, five is a bit harsh. If they had a zero tolerence 5min penalty in effect this is one you’d say tough luck on.

From behind the play I thought it was a bs call, but from in front it definitely looks deliberate. Not necessarily dirty since Oshie was leading with his head, but deliberate.
