Yeah, I’m good with Rust on that line out of necessity. It’s nice to have guys that can move through the lineup and not look out of place.

Mayfield and Pelech are so bad...it's crazy that Islanders fans (some of them) tolerate those guys...they are horrific players...but yet, they hate Hickey, who is actually decent...dare I say, mad decent...clowns...

The NHL has foundations in rewarding positional versatility (Red Kelly, prime example...Sergei Fedorov more recent)...the game has become too specialized for that in a lot of ways, so this is the best we got...Rust's value isn't in where he lines up, it's where he can lineup...if he ever can be a regular center in this league somehow, I'd sign him to a lifetime contract...
