Murray 1st goalie off. He’ll make 3rd straight start. Ruhwedel came off early. He may get in the lineup tonight. Would be his 1st game this season. -SK

Grant is off the ice while Sprong is still skating. Grant looking to make his #Pens debut. Brassard said he is good to go after yesterday’s maintenance day. -SK

Fine by me as well...get Grant a look against his former team.

Get Sprong some game time, go over some development steps without a game on the horizon, get some more game time, go over some development steps...

Possible mid-term play, scratch Sprong enough times and he may be able to be assigned to the AHL on conditioning...but I don't think it will come to that...I think this is just a roster trying to figure out what it has early in the season...which I fully support...
