DeSmith goes to his blocker side better than 99.9% of goalies. He keeps the blocker so high. It’s awesome

I suppose it's the best of all worlds.

Phil gets a hatty, Pens give a beatdown, DeSmith puts on a show, and the fans get to see Flower.

Worth the price of admission for sure.

On a related note, Mears is doing a better job in the booth so far this season. He sounds more natural and relaxed.
