Come on, everyone knows Jeff Jimerson. He's one of the best anthem singers in the entire league.

It would be easier to just cut JJ than endure this conversation, right? C'mon GMJR, lets go.

Conner was the one that completely biffed it on the shootout attempt. Or maybe it was a PS.Only thing I remember Conner for was getting lit the **** up nearly every game.Thought it was Chris Conner, but you are right. What a turd

I like getting brassard more ice but is he a top 3 pk for us? He seems like a mini malkin busting the zone for an offensive opportunity or taking a bad penalty rather than a blue collar type pk'er

I don't see Brassard being a dumb pentaly taker at all. Very responsible in his own end.

He's not "blue collar" in terms of a grinder.. but Brass is one HELL of a hockey player who is adept at cleaning up his own end. In addition, his play in the neutral zone is a breath of fresh air, given the rate at which the team has been turning the puck over. He's not going to score you 40 goals, or lead the league in hits, but he's very good at every facet of the NHL game - which makes him difficult to play against. I think fans will come to appreciate him more and more as the season goes on.I like getting brassard more ice but is he a top 3 pk for us? See what you made me do. I fell into a Carey Price rabbit hole. Look at that last clip. That movement is bonkers. A pivot push back for depth. An open up with a modified t push and a snap into position, just waiting for the play to come off the wall. I mean. Gawd dayum
The second to last clip shows what I used to say Fleury DIDN'T do, and what it appears Murray also doesn't do.
Price wants to move right so he lifts his left leg and pushes.
It seemed to me that, in that kind of situation, Fleury would tend to lift his right leg, then left and push. Murray seems to do that too. It only adds a fraction of a second but that could be all that it takes for a puck to get past.
This kind of shows that you don’t always want to pick up the leg you want to push with - don’t always want to pick up your right leg to push to the left. These examples have them pushing off the posts, but you can achieve that kind of movement without having the post to use in certain situations.
