Thanks. I bought a four-pack on the aisle in the upper section, 3rd row. I figure we can always resell them (and there's a good chance we will and turn a nice little profit), but with it being a Saturday night why not.

The face value was $115, and I saw that tickets even further above those were being posted on the resale sites for $200 or so. Even with the fees that would be a tidy profit.

Going to the Winter classic game here against Philly was an experience I'd never want to do again. It was crazy cold that night and the whole experience was just miserable. Left halfway through the third after victory was assured.

Tickets here at least were dirt cheap leading up to the game. I got two tickets in the upper level for like 30$ a piece a week before the game.

I stopped watching NASCAR in 2001 but decided to go to the Coca-Cola 600 in 2013 just to have the experience. I bought tickets really early thinking they'd be hard to get. But then my wife got cancer so I tried to dump them and they were worth basically nothing on the secondary market. We ended up going to the race anyway and having a great time; the people that bought tickets around us never showed either.

What I'm saying is I hope your wife doesn't get cancer, shaf.

really? I've been to the Coca Cola 600 twice now and couldn't find tickets for less than $60 both times

These were $160 each face value and when they wouldn't sell for less than $100 each we decided to just go. Glad we did, was an awesome time.

Glad to hear it. Some of the best concert/sports times I've had is when I dragged my ass there instead of reselling.
