Generally speaking, no. Even in arbitration hearings, they can't cross streams. You can't use a UFA contract as precedent. Now, when you buy some UFA years, maybe that's a little bit of a different story. But if I'm Michael Grabner's agent, I'm a bad agent if I'm looking at Bryan Rust's contract. I'm looking at Milan Lucic's, my client scores more goals than him and he's faster...
