Nine straight series wins what a glorious run...if I'm not mistaken, we had won more playoff series consecutively than the Caps have in the entire Ovechkin era combined...

I wish the Caps nothing but misfortune and misery. I'd really, really like a Tampa sweep...

Have our boys get some sleep and come out ready for next season...nothing wrong with 3 Cups in 4 years...

No doubt. This team doesn’t need many changes. Maybe a little freshness in some young guys like sprong. Maybe try for rework the defense slightly. And hope for Letang to return to 2015-16 levels.

They will be a favorite again next year

I am fine keeping dumo, Shultz and Maatta on d. The rest of it can go and be retooled

Dumo was a beast in these playoffs - I think this has been the best hockey he's played. Give Schultz Letang's minutes, pick up some defensive depth over the summer and we'll be okay next year.

Yeah, very happy with Beetle. Dumo was out of this world. Schultz did not disappoint this season. Maatta was our best d-man overall for the year probably.

Hunwick was mud salad and Letang...well...plenty has been said about Letang, we're not gonna unearth any new info there...

I do think he's lost maybe half a step. I think it's a good idea to consider how you're going to use him in the future.

It takes a LOT for me to swear in front of my parents, even at 42, but the sight of that dipshit flapping his arms did it. Hopefully he gets the Krug treatment ASAP.

This team was dead. No jump at all, especially from the players you’d expect. A lot of that was due to the defensive coverage. Seemed like they always had 2 and 3 back to the point that it felt like they had 7 skaters out there. I hope to hear about a number of injuries because that will give me all the explanation I’d need.

I’m numb. We lost the last quest for 3 in a similar fashion a week short of 25 years ago. I can accept losing when we’re beat by a better team. I have a problem with it when mental errors are the reasons for the losses. If that makes me spoiled, so be it.
