Same. It’s so strange. I just saw how dead these guys looked and I felt that they were done.

Malkin could barely skate, Kessel couldn’t shoot, brassard didn’t play. Even Guentzal looked completely gassed in this game

My feelings exactly. Strange. Almost feel a sense of relief that they’ve been put out of their misery. They were sputtering for a few months here.

This is essentially Columbus' fault. They chased Grubauer going up 2-0 and still couldn't finish off the series. So we got non head case holtby who trotz wasn't going to play until he got desperate. F*** Columbus. F*** Urban Meyer.

Once again, can see how much we’re hated when friends who are fans of teams not involved in tonite’s games are celebrating our dismissal. Sad when your fandom life comes to the point that your only happiness is when a certain team loses.

That's a universal opinion, I think, regardless of who the champs are. Sports fans just like change. I was tired of seeing the Kings and Hawks win, despite not really having anything against them, save for a brief bout of Hossaitis.

Caps also won without two of their top forwards.

Just wasn't meant to be this year. The extra month of rest should help a lot.

The only reason I'm upset is that it was the Capitals.

In one year, the Eagles won a Super Bowl and the Caps made it back to the conference finals. Has not been a great year for schadenfreude

Anyone but Caps win, and I'm happy. I enjoy having the trump card in discussions with Caps fans of "how many stanley cups?"
