Swap the first two, IMO.

Maybe. Unfortunately two shots to the same quad of the net that happened to be 'unstoppable' got to him. Just unlucky that way.

That was certainly unexpected.
Can we do something to stop these f****** early period goals?

Eh, I mean, I know. You're doing it and I wish you wouldn't do itMaybe. Unfortunately two shots to the same quad of the net that happened to be 'unstoppable' got to him. Just unlucky that way.
But the homerism that comes with saying the only two goals a team gives up were 'unstoppable' is just as bitter to me as my writing is to you.
They don't win that game without that stellar effort from Murray, though. I'm happy to say.

4-0 on the road in the playoffs. That's how you win championships.

No homerism here. I think he could have done more on the first shot, but don't believe many (any?) goalie would have stopped Ovechkin's snipe.Eh, I mean, I know. You're doing it and I wish you wouldn't do itMaybe. That ovechkin shot no one stops. Perfectly placed. The first one eh...2 on 1 17 seconds in..you'd like a stop there but it is what it is. He was lights out though and the only reason the game didn't get out of hand early. No homerism here. My concern isn't so much being beat there but he seems to have an issue catching it when it does hit his glove. If he gets his glove on it more often than not it seems to bounce right out.Dude won two cups in history first two seasons in the NHL

Here's a good Grover jam:
Guenztel has 20 goals in 32 playoff games. Mario got to 20 in 26 games.

Jake should have had 30+ this year. He was extremely snakebit.
This isn’t surprising.

I've just come to believe that every goalie the Pens have, people are always going to critique. MAF played the puck like a grenade, gave up soft ones. Murray has a weak glove. Who cares - Murray kept that game 1-0 while the Pens again had a slow start.

Caps are 8-9 after losing game 1. They’re also 7-16 when they win game 1. Uh oh. They have us just where they want us.
