Pens aren't playing history, they're playing the Caps shortly.Caps also won the division this year.
As the difference -maker, i like the Caps to be better at taking advantage of Pens mistakes than vice versa. I think Letang will be a big contributor to that.
It's all just predictions, which no one is good at, so whatever.

Some guy on reddit gets super butthurt when people say Letang sucks. I think he does good about 80% of the time, then there's this other time where he takes an awful penalty or turns it over right inside the slot. I forgive Geno because he's an absolutely dominant player, I don't forgive Letang because he's not truly a generational talent.I think Letang will have a good series.

Agree. Streaks end and start for reasons that are driven by most recent performance. Neither team is operating under the exact same conditions as last year, year before or 2009.There is no such concept as "due" or "deserve" in the Stanley Cup Playoffs...
