I didn't ask for this ****, but if we win another cup, could it really happen any other way?

From a poster on Caps HFDave Molinari
@MolinariPG
The Penguins will face Washington in Round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs, the first postseason meeting between those teams since 2017. The Capitals have won all but nine of the previous 10 series against Pittsburgh.
Its this type of **** that really chaps my *****.
I can still remember being shocked the Caps beat Mario and the Pens in that one series the Caps won all those years ago. Would be nice to be shocked again. Anyway, **** ****sburgh.
Still going with the Young Guns 2.0 of Kuzy, Willy, Orly, etc... as a key to this series. Will throw in the Eller line as well. Caps need them to contribute in a significant way. Ultimately though Holtby needs to stand on his head and spin like a top for the Caps to have a chance.
Having said all that, I've seen this movie before. I chose Pens in 6.

The Caps are obviously good, we all know that. But hasn't their goaltending been pretty poor the last month or two?

They put Grubauer in for games 1 and 2 then lost. Holtby started the rest and they won all four. That said **** Holtby we are in his head.

Yinz are soff. Co-workers in the office are trembling too. It's almost like people forgot that to win the Cup, you have to beat good teams. They can't all be the **** Flyers.

Any time we play the Caps I'm just glad they traded Forsberg for that guy.

I assume, Carlson, Niskanen and Orlov will be competent, basically, do they have one exploitable pairing, or two.What is the question...?

Orlov was horrid defensively vs. Columbus. Kempny was very strong (probably the Caps best d-man overall). Orlov was their best offensive weapon from the back end (by a mile). Orpik is exploitable. Djoos is a small, fragile baby...he's exploitable...
