Exactly. I mean, the Pens go into their arena and drop a snowman on Philly without Malkin in the lineup (and missing Hags as well), and they are worried about a tripping call...All of the complaining in Flyer land today is about the non-call on the tripping. While the call can be debated, the outcome would have been the same.
The hit by Giroux on Hags was at least a 2 minute penalty, and they let that one go. I'm not sure Couturier's injury was as bad as the Flyers are making it out to be, but at any rate, his 5 point game would have been heroic had it won the series or even the game, for that matter - but it didn't, so he's nothing but a golfer with a limp now.
By the way, 2012 called, and they want their offsides call back. Sometimes karma comes back around. Refs miss calls, it happens.. even when a guy is 2 YARDS (not feet) offsides and they don't whistle the play dead...
