I love Dana Heinze's behind the scenes stuff during the postseason:

Benching Sanheim while Gudas and Manning play 19+ minutes per night is certainly curious personnel management.

It's worth echoing McGuire's praise throughout the series, as well - Sheahan was outstanding, and stepped up when asked to do so.

I tried to tweak the Curb video where Letang trips him right at the slide whistle, and Coots hits the ice right at the percussion drop, but when it went to save the timing was off again. Oh well.

I wish there was a practical way for Sheahan and Rust to play together. They both just give no f***s about what their ceiling is.

Not that Sheahan is home grown but I remember that "farm system" ranking of all the NHL teams a few years ago and we were last or close to last. It's kind of humorous now...we wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for the likes of Murray, Rust, Sheary, Guentzel, etc.

“Coots” might want to add padding in his helmet. Not many brain cells left. The way he launched himself into the net/post when Letang shoved him does not indicate a guy playing with a full deck. Look at how he kicks his heels up if you see a replay. What a dandy.
And the Shultz “cross check” before the ENG...you’re down 2. It’s over. Why are you still hitting the ice? At what point does personal pride come in?
I’m way too hung up on what a current golf enthusiast was up to over the weekend. But I just can’t deal with this guy.

Was Couturier auditioning to be traded to the Bruins?

Flyer fans are ALL tossers.Any philly based posters attend this game? If so, I have some questions. In your estimate, what percentage of beer cans that were thrown toward the ice actually made it? Would you say there were more or less beer can tossers than on average?

All of the complaining in Flyer land today is about the non-call on the tripping. While the call can be debated, the outcome would have been the same.

Hey, cut them some slack. They were only 787:12 from the Cup.All of the complaining in Flyer land today is about the non-call on the tripping. While the call can be debated, the outcome would have been the same.

real talk: the Giroux on Hagelin hit was a much more egregious violation of the rules. Whether it was late or not is arguable but it was a clear headshot imo
