I was going to reply to that 'Murray hasn't been good this series' comment, then quickly realized that it wasn't worth my time. So I just laughed instead.

The absolute WORST kind of sports fans are the ones that try to enamor themselves to opposing fan bases. ESPECIALLY hated rivalries. The glad handing is the worst. These are the same type of schmucks that pop into opposing blogs/forums/comment chains and say something along the lines of "Hey there, Pens fan here, I did think you guys got screwed by the officials. You have a good young team and I know you'll be a force to be reckoned with soon! Great series!"

The WORST.

Last I checked, fans don’t actually compete for anything. I don’t think the “rivalry” extends beyond the direct participants. But I also really have no comprehension of why people trash talk about things they have no influence on.

I just call it like I see it...so if I see something that looks good, even for a rival, I'll say something...I don't break my arm jerkin them off though...same thing here, if something is crap or sucks or sucks craps, I say it...if there's something I like, I say that too...

I don't wander onto other boards and fellate their youth...that's just gross.
