This in every single urinal at the Wells Fargo Center:
“It’s not the first building that’s happened in,” Crosby said, smiling. “I don’t know if they stole that idea from someone else.”

Yeah, I saw that yesterday. But on the other hand, it’s also an automatic double minor. Not that this answers that question or comment, but blood from a high stick is not an automatic double minor.
The initial call was for a hooking that happened before the high stick. The high stick came after that and an arm went up for it. I think they didn't want to have a two minute hook combined with a double minor for the high stick with a Flyer already in the box (IIRC). Maybe they were concerned for their personal safety. I am pretty sure that if we did that with the lead and being the visitors we would have experienced the full weight of hockey "justice."how exactly did the refs out think themselves on that penalty? maybe they said the word "hook" out loud and thought there's too much paperwork involved to change it to "high stick"? this might be the worst officiating i've ever seen over a 2 game stretch. just in the volume of blown calls and the weird way they're trying to even things out and ref to the score.
Wink wink nudge nudgeYeah, I saw that yesterday. But on the other hand, it’s also an automatic double minor. Not that this answers that question or comment, but blood from a high stick is not an automatic double minor.
I've seen this a couple of times in the last two months or so. Seems that unwritten rule is under revision.Yeah, I saw that yesterday. Pretty sure nothing, and thats a good thing. He doesn't let anything get to him and does an unbelievable job at shaking off bad goals or games.I have no clue what's going on in that dude's head
Is this something observable during play or is it just reflected in the box score? The amount of self-confidence that runs through Murray’s mind is unimaginable to most, if not all, of us. His belief in his ability to stop pucks is off the charts.
Both. He makes key saves at key times in game, so that is observable during play. His numbers after a Pens’ loss are reflected in the box score. Is this something observable during play or is it just reflected in the box score? The amount of self-confidence that runs through Murray’s mind is unimaginable to most, if not all, of us. And a lad of only 23. We have led a charmed life as fans the last decade or so.It was apparent pretty much from the first time he tended an NHL net. Quiet confidence, but neither cockiness nor arrogance. Remarkable guy.
