Put Tanger back on the first PP unit. He'll at least give them a chance to gain the zone.

I think he was on the PP1 for our 4th power play...
The team has kind of checked out of this one...the game is pretty well in hand at 2-0 and DeSmith is feeling...I expect the Pens to just try to coast to rope a dope win...

I am 100% ok with DeSmith being the back-up next season.

Okay now give the fourth line a 2:30 shift.

Damn. Dude won tickets to all 82 pens games next year along with hotel accommodations, airfare, and 100k.

Same. Kid has been a wonderful surprise.I am 100% ok with DeSmith being the back-up next season.
So the Pens hit 100 points in the last game of the season. I always have a bit of a melancholy feeling when hockey season is over though. Nice thing is, the offseason never seems that long because of the long postseason and the fact that it's the summer and I'd rather be outside anyway.

The tricky thing is that there are actual a bunch of decent veteran options to bring in as a back up. Ward, Halak, Johnson, Bernier, Lehtonen, Berra are all UFA.

I signed up for it but debated with myself.. would an awesome 6 months be worth losing my job and finding a new one? I don't knowDamn. Dude won tickets to all 82 pens games next year along with hotel accommodations, airfare, and 100k.
