Yeah, he started out 6'4" when Kuhnhackl first made the Pens...he's 6'8" tonight according to Chicken Parm...then again, everyone probably looks 6'8" to him...I had to check because I knew there was no way he was that big.Erich Kuhnhackl grows larger and larger as the season goes on...Ray Ferraro just said he was 6 foot 7 or 8...
6’5”
I tell you he was ten stories high if he was a foot!

What do we think the lead influence is in our ability to get pucks...compared to other teams, we are just in on some many pucks and come away with so many pucks despite not being a physical team...
Is it that we just obtain so many high hockey IQ players?
Is it that we have coaches that focus on certain elements of retrieving pucks and getting in lanes that pucks will go despite full possession of the opponent?
Is it just speed and quickness mixed with a strong work ethic?
Is it influenced by guys like Sidney Crosby?
I mean, just watch the angles (sticks and skates and body) that Hornqvist, Rust, Guentzel, even Hagelin take towards puck that would otherwise be lost...it's really interesting to me...and I don't know, from a coaching perspective, I understand (like, comprehension-wise) how to coach that...so I have to assume it's the players just having those traits...but I struggle to understand how we're so good at it...and if I can coach it, I want to find a way...
