Just sorta sleepwalkin thru this game.

Pens are in road mode.
I'm going to use that the next time I miss a major deadline for work.

I don’t see us getting out of the first round.

We don’t play defense, our PK sucks, and we let up goals in bunches

I was biking home a couple of weeks ago from the north side and went on that bridge that goes from the north shore to Point State park. I was looking at the Fox Sports building and saw a Stan Savran Penguins jersey hanging, so I was like, oh must be that dudes' office. When I got to eye level with that floor, I could see that it was a conference room, not an office, and Jay Caufield and Colby Armstrong were watching the game on TV. Jay was studiously watching and taking notes. Armstrong had his feet up and was on his phone.
This failed to get the recognition it deserved.

Cheers to you. :thumb:

We are 7-2-2 in our last 11....and that has to be the worst looking 7-2-2 in the past decade. And the dogs **** play continues tonight

It sure ain't "dope."

Disagree. It’s not about the result, it’s about the way they are playing. It’s sloppy, dumb hockey and as we learned year after year, there isn’t a switch this late. You need to be playing at least half decently headed into the playoffs

It really is. I've never seen methane emit from a 7-2-2 record before, and yet, here we are.

I liked it better when Letang missed the net by so much that no one could possibly block his shot.

This Letang needs to remember he’s a grown up that doesn’t HAVE to shoot the puck just because he wants to. If the shot isn’t there, it isn’t there. Grow that brain back, man.

Edit:

Letang - 7 goals in 74 games

Joe Morrow - 6 goals in 50 games

I liked it better when they were humming like a fine Corvette rather than this cough-cough-wheeze-wheeze that we've seen since the trading deadline.

Like I said, we aren’t making it out of the first round. Maybe if we play the flyers we will, but every other team is taking it to us in the playoffs

Agreed. I love Brassard. Even if they blow it this year, a full year with him and anyone better than Hunwick and I love our chances next year.

In the previous 23 games, the Wings scored 4 goals in a game just twice. Nice work tonite, boys.
