I have NHL Gamecenter up while I'm watching and it has the two NYI scorers shown 3x. At first glance, it looks like the Isles have jumped out to a 6-0 lead.

Maybe the coaches bought that non-call by riding the referees about previous calls? Sure looked like a penalty to me.
