They need to make offsides be either skating into the zone or trying to get back onsides. If you are skating laterally it shouldn’t be. I understand it’s the correct call, but that’s just dumb.

That could not have been more obvious.

I don’t mind it, leave it black and white or do away with it altogether... then you get Daniel brier again.

Also spare me crediting a coach making a challenge... some video guy is checking every zone entry

I have no problem with this fourth line
Kuhnhackl is pretty fun to watch when he’s unleashed.

Despite the philly game, sid is still in hibernation.

I’ll worry when he’s engaged and we can’t win.

So, aside from a 2nd arguably lame disallowed goal in 2 nights, how are you kids tonight?

it doesn’t seem unreasonable to ask players to stay onside. There are rules in every sport that require you to pay attention.

His line does little in the way of forecheck or offensive zone possession. Everything is a fast break to nothing.

Hooking or goaltender interference... could go either way there with that aggressive move into the paint

I said something last night along the lines of him being more useful when he has a more defensive minded guy in Rowney on his line.

Except hooking involves using the blade of your stick which he did not.

He got pounded two games in a row and hasn't been the same since. Plus he's had his hand slashed about five times in those games and the game before.
