I'm annoyed that they let Eric Staal score a goal like that on Fleury a few years ago.

They made the right call tonight. Just wish they would be more consistent about it.

It's just that you can't push the goalie, or the goalie and puck into the net...not a matter of covered (it wasn't)...but It's one of those "you can't do that" things haha...

They made the right call tonight. Just wish they would be more consistent about it.

I wish they were consistent about anything. Slashing is a "point of emphasis" except that Phil got whacked on the hands twice within 20 seconds.

Would be a pretty bad precedent to set by allowing that goal. Guys would be jamming goalie gloves and pads into the net after every save.
