I do not like the Geno/Phil Combo and neither should Sullivan.
I don't understand this lineup.

I'd really like to talk to Sergei Gonchar one day, I feel like I could learn a lot from him...he and Jacques Martin are making chicken salad out of chicken feathers here...

Unrelated: Sheary brought his hard hat today...working hard and smart in this one...
Those two are the Deep State of the coaching staff. ;)

Man Rust is having a game. And Sheahan continually gets better

Edit: oh it was Simon. Great play

The Sheahan of the past month and a half has looked completely different than the beaten dog we acquired from Detroit in October.

Impressive game from Letang today. Every decision he's made has been absolutely **** awful. It's rare to get that kind of consistency.

Doesn't seem like a guy that should play in the AHL again.

Like he has a personality and a brain and isn’t just a pre-programmed bot?
Agreed.

Good win against a really good team.

For me:
* - Matt Murray
** - Bryan Rust
*** - Conor Sheary

I actually thought Sheary had a pretty bad game. Played hard but couldn't keep the puck on his stick for a second before losing it.

Nice to see a bit of separation starting to form in the standings

Sheary struggled doing things with the puck, but hustled his ass off to make up for it. It's out of the Tyler Kennedy playbook. Which is probably why so many people don't like him, still.

Did he shoot right at the goalie’s crest all game also?
