I wanted that game. The last one against SJ felt wrong and as tonight progressed we were doing everything right but scoring.

Is it the playoffs and no one told me? That's the only reason I could see for @Gaucho to break out the cat knocking the kid over AND Pitbull. Those are playoff staples broken out in a game in January. What's next, the beer girls or the young ladies pushing the jeep? Not that I'd complain about those either!

the hissy fits from burns, couture and thornton in the finals rubbed me the wrong way. intellectually, they shouldn't. that was their one chance to win and being pissed when you get taken to task is natural. but i still didn't like it. so f*** those guys.

i have no opinion about 80-90% of their players, though

I'll never forget Thornton just giving Sid the business with nothing called, then Sid simply skates away. That had to be a mind **** to Joe knowing it didn't phase him.
