The vaunted Carolina Hurricanes:
The Hurricanes trail all-time with a 62-64-17-1 record, including a 27-34-9-1 record in Pittsburgh.
Tonight marks the third out of four games between the two sides this season. The Canes took both the December 29th and January 4th matchups against the Penguins. The final matchup will come on February 23rd.
The last time the Hurricanes won a season series against the Penguins was in the 2009-10 season.
Jeff Skinner has scored a goal in three of his last four games against the Penguins.

Watch that period and tell me the last time Letang looked as good or impactful as Slavin, Falk, and Hanafin did. 2 years ago in playoffs vs Sharks was the last time I think. I really miss that dynamic player on the backend. Carolina has at least 3 of them.Somebody please slap Letang into consciousness.

The latter half of that period looked a lot like the last two games v, Canes.
