The Canes, the worst team in the Metro, is six points behind the 2nd place Devils. Meanwhile in the Atlantic, 4th place Detroit is 12 points behind 3rd place Toronto.

Very nice workmanlike win. Loved seeing Sid going down to block a couple of shots there with about 4:00 left. Don't see that too often. Great to have Rust back and now hopefully, they can all stay healthy and start putting more offense together.

Bruins just now closed out their game vs. the Devils with an ENG, 4-2. Edit: Nope, didn't cross the line before 0:00, so 3-2.

DET just tied the Flyers at 2 with about 9 min. left in regulation. A Flyers reg L would be a nice capper to the evening.
