I don't see Ryan Reaves being able to move up and down the lineup and still be relatively successful/not drag everyone else down. He barely gets 6 minutes a night, and isn't really worth the effort to try to get him in the lineup. At least someone like Kuhnhackl has some semblance of puck skill and can be trusted to play more than just 5v5. Not much of a deterrent for anything either, which was a fairly large reason for his addition to the roster. Last I checked, people still take liberties on our players. What's he done? Needlessly escalate situations? Nothing? And don't get me started on his complete lack of ability to do anything offensively.

Whatever. We've established that you aren't changing my opinion on this.

I don't think his style of play was what the team needs. I don't think he deters anything. He's just kind of... there. A useless player who shouldn't see the lineup when everyone is healthy.

I think the last line is a fine compromise and a win for the board. It was overkill and it makes me do work to balance the "average opinion" of the board...with your extreme opinion out of the way, my extreme opinion dies and he'll likely settle in exactly where he belongs...12th/13th forward who people generally don't talk about...

And yeah, let's make no mistake...Reaves belongs in the league and he's a very fine fourth line player. He serves his role. I like him. It was a good acquisition and good value. That's all.

Like I said, my hatred is definitely irrational at this point. It's not going to be changed. That's the **** definition of irrational. I am blinded by my hate to the point where I will spin something like what mikey said to try to fit my narrative. Mikey is willing to accept that, now that I am done with discussing this. I am willing to accept that mikey was trying to balance out my irrationality.
