Also, Brown is a piece of sht. That is one of the most egregious hits of the last couple of years. What could possess you to bring your stick up and cross check someone when they are on their knees with their back turned by the boards? Tremendously dumb/malicious. Should get a multi-game.

Not a fan of breaking up the 4th line with Sheahan in the middle. I get that they prefer having Jake at wing, but as long as they don't find a new 3 line center, he seems to be their best option.

Just saw the Brown hit (I fell asleep after the first period). Good grief. He needs to be suspended. But probably won't be.

Pittsburgh is now 5-0-2 in the second half of their last 7 back-to-backs.

There were several scouts in attendance for this contest. An interesting development is the following from Chicago. Scouts from the Blackhawks have been in attendance for at least 3 of the Penguins last four games.

Others to note are Ottawa, Toronto, and Dallas. Scouts from the Stars also attended last Sunday’s game against the New York Rangers.

It's not a very good site, but I thought those tidbits were interesting.

Dustin Brown is a joke.

Remember when he was so shitty that management decided to strip him of his captaincy?

Los Angeles’ Dustin Brown fined $10,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for cross-checking Pittsburgh’s Justin Schultz.

If Schultz were injured, I'm betting Brown would've gotten a suspension. That's why the DoPS is a joke.

Yeah, I really think that's worth a game-ish...it's so unnecessary and it was done with pretty reckless force...
