Oleksiak wasn't good enough for Dallas? Huh.
I've had zero issues with him since he arrived.
Maybe Gonchar and Martin really are defense whisperers...he doesn't do nearly as much as the dumb **** he was doing in Dallas just last month...for starters, he's in kind of the right position now more than half the time, which is a marked improvement...

At this point, we could trade Letang for Rick Berry and I wouldn't protest...

I read that Oleksiak wasn't all that physical for his size, but that hasn't been the case since he's been a Pen, IMO.

They're painting stripes on a kitty at this point. Not sure how, as Gonchar never went first into a corner...but somehow. Not as physical as his gargantuan stature would suggest but he is playing with testosterone for the first time in his career...again, I say this having seen him since he was an amateur...I hope this keeps up. This is the best hockey he has played in his career...at least with Schultz you could see it coming if you watched him play in Oklahoma City...this is a revelation early on...

Fun game to be at. When the Rags scored twice to go ahead, I never felt like the Pens were out of it.

Goddamn were the dudes behind us annoying af, though. They apparently went to the stillers game,too, and were all salty about that.
