At what point do we start panicking?

Fifth worst in the league in goal differential

I haven’t been able to watch many of the games thus far but what’s wrong with the team? Is it just a back to back Cup hangover?

I'm pretty much checked out. They are not fun to watch. There could be some big turnaround I guess, but right now I'm in DGAF mode.. which the team seems they are the same way. Back to Back Cups was amazing... I'm ok with a down year.

The roster isn't as good as last year's, the Double Cup Hangover is real, and the returning stars aren't playing like stars.

Long way to go but I would think the best case is to get into the playoffs and win one round. More likely, they won't qualify, or they'll barely make it and then get drummed by Tampa.

Hard to fuss about any of it, though the games really are boring.

I typically don't start watching until an hour in and find myself ffw through most of the games. Bad product this year.

Tampa cannot let the metropolitan division go to the finals. This is juuuust about the only realistic goali have left for the year.

To be fair, if the Pens don't make the playoffs, MIMH will have to go like 21 months without posting here...that seems to be his main concern...

I don't think we should have the capacity to panic, the back to back wins should make us fans fat and happy.

I think JR goofed big time last offseason by choosing to reward his guys when he should have been more proactive in the trade market. I think some turnover would have been good for this squad.

And I'm saying this with the all mighty power of hindsight. It would have been a risky move, because if they had moved their RFAs instead of giving them all multi year deals, and are where they are now, people would be freaking out.
