Holy sht. This team is fcking lifeless and sucks. Unbelievable.

We have been lifeless for 1-2 months now. It’s really hard to tell what the cause is. We look like we don’t deserve to be on the same ice as Carolina for much of this game. How could that be?

We are so tired from winning the Stanley Cup 7 months ago that we can’t possess the puck tonight? I mean, I know there are probably 10 reasons why we aren’t good this year but it’s real hard to determine what % of the blame goes into which category.

What % falls on Sid or Letang or Tocchet or Bonino or Cullen or hangover/fatigue or whatever...?

If we look like this near the trade deadline I see now reason why we should be big buyers or mortgage the future. Take a “year off” and reload for next year. For a month know this team has looked like it has been no match for most opponents. Adding a player or two won’t change that.

Something that's been bugging me, and I don't remember it being as much of a thing last year:

Pens D is just blindly reversing it up the boards any chance they get. Most of the time, there's no winger there to get it and it goes to a defender.

Why? Why not just try to skate it up to the open ice? There's been so many turnovers and bad plays because they listlessly throw it blindly up the wall.
